We engineered this joint to ensure that both the metal and the foam align perfectly, delivering maximum insulation contact without the small gaps that can undermine thermal efficiency. The result is a tighter, stronger joint that helps prevent the long-term inefficiencies that lead to higher costs and reduced performance. It also meets Factory Mutual and NFPA standards.

The PCS Joint builds on our trusted Z-Lock design, which set the industry standard for foam-to-foam contact. We refined the process even further for our PermaCore® systems by milling our cold storage panels during production. This ensures uninterrupted foam connection along the full length of the panel. The result is a joint that is seamless, structurally sound, and exceptionally well-insulated, much like the flawless connection you’d expect from a perfectly crafted cabinet corner.
For projects that demand the highest level of precision, we offer factory-notched panels. This process allows both joint types to be custom-notched during manufacturing, ensuring that the metal and insulation fit exactly as intended before they ever reach the job site. By eliminating the need for on-site notching—a task that requires a high degree of skill and time—we make even the most complex installations faster, easier, and more accurate.
